Managing Partner, Partner

Andrew joined Grimshaw in 2001 in London, becoming a Partner in 2012. In 2022, Andrew was elected into the position of Managing Partner for the London studio, continuing the practice’s approach to implement positive social, environmental outcomes in our built environment.

Some of Andrew’s notable early projects within the practice include the Core and Foundation buildings at the Eden Project in Cornwall, and the initial design stages of the Fulton Center in New York. Currently, Andrew leads Grimshaw’s designs of the new Euston rail station, which is in development alongside the new HS2 terminus station → and master plan.

While his experience has covered a wide range of sectors including commercial, education, transport and culture, Andrew

has played a pivotal role in the development of Grimshaw’s transport and aviation portfolio during his time with the practice.

He has developed airports, master plans and associated aviation development projects for major clients around the world, notably in Delhi, Istanbul, St Petersburg, New York, Frankfurt and Basel. This work also includes multiple projects through the practice’s long-standing relationship with Heathrow Airport, leading Grimshaw’s work on the Heathrow Expansion Project →.

Andrew also leads the London studio in the delivery of its Positive Works programme which works with local communities and organisations bring about positive change.
