BIM Coordinator, Sydney

Key responsibilities include:

·Maintaining all project BIM models and associated project BIM documents and data, to ensure the prescribed performance and quality levels satisfy specific project BIM requirements and Grimshaw BIM Standards.

CGI Visualiser, Melbourne

Grimshaw Architects is seeking a talented and creative middleweight CGI Visualiser with experience in 3D modeling and rendering for a full-time position in our office in Melbourne. You will work with all project teams in the Melbourne studio, as well as interface with our CGI teams in Sydney, London & New York in the creation of high-quality architectural visualizations via 3D still and animated renderings, and 2D illustrations.

Ideal candidates should feel comfortable working with photorealistic and stylised visualisation techniques, and should have developed 3D modeling skills suitable for quick CG images and accurate CAD detailing. You will work directly with project teams in the realisation of their designs in a variety of image formats, virtual reality, and animations.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Project Teams in creating 3D modelled representations of design sketches or developed projects, manifested in compelling imagery

Working as key member of our Global System team, the Business Systems Analyst provides support to the business on the use of our bespoke company software, including engaging, training and reviewing company processes to aide the development of the practice, ensuring timely resolution of queries and taking steps to reduce recurring issues and improve operating efficiencies.

As Business Systems Analyst you will:

  • Provide support to project teams and support departments on use of bespoke company software, whilst working in line with our QA and ISO standards.
  • Provide training and coaching on the relevant systems when required.
  • Be responsible for reviewing company processes to aide the development of the practice.
  • Provide efficient Business Systems support for staff and respond to user issues within an acceptable time frame.

Overview

The main role of the BIM Specialist is to support Grimshaw architectural project teams in the use of BIM tools and workflows, specifically Autodesk Revit. Architect/Urban Planner (LA),

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, proactive and passionate Architect/Urban Planner to contribute to our emerging Los Angeles Studio.

This role will require you to have exceptional design, technical, communication, and management skills with a background in mid-large scale projects. As an Architect/Urban Planner you will assist the project team during all phases of master planning and building design development. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting urban design, site planning, and other project design details. You may take on project management responsibilities such as ensuring the highest quality standard and criteria of all design submissions, communicating with clients and consultants, and organizing the schedules of the project and working team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an Architect/Urban Planning professional with 6-8 years’ professional experience. The ideal candidate has strong front/end design, visualization, and presentation sensibilities. Experience in higher education campus planning and building design is required. Experience in large-scale public/cultural/transportation/transit projects is not required but preferred.

The ideal candidate has superb time management and communication skills, demonstrated proficiency in both architectural and master planning graphic presentation, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is desirable but not required.

The ability to build strong relationships across the practice is very important, to work collaboratively with a team, is a must.

Software knowledge requirements: Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS (desired)
