This temporary exhibit and event space creates a bold, adaptable installation for John Lewis to showcase its fashion collection of private label designers.
Bringing together elements of exhibition design and architecture, the modular pavilion is formed from cardboard tubes of varied lengths and apertures, held within two large acrylic sheets. Each of the panels creates a permeable boundary that can be used to enclose or frame display spaces, offering an enticing glimpse of the merchandise.
The pop-up installation was initially located in the flagship store on Oxford Street and has since travelled to other John Lewis stores within the UK. Along with the possibility to be configured differently, the innovative design can be adapted for use as framing or as display shelves. This gives retailers the opportunity to curate the installation anew, according to their specific requirements.
