Grimshaw has celebrated the topping off of 664 Collins Street, the practice’s second commercial building in Melbourne, with a rooftop ceremony hosted on Monday by Mirvac and major tenants, Pitcher Partners and ExxonMobil.

Grimshaw has designed its first cubby house which will be auctioned at a VIP event at the 2017 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show on Thursday, 30th March as part of this year’s Cubby House Challenge.

Grimshaw has designed an innovative airport seating system for Tecno, launched at Passenger Terminal Expo, 14 - 16th March in Amsterdam.
Thursday 19th January
Grimshaw has been an integral part of the Expo 2020 Dubai presence at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (12th – 21st January, 2017), unveiling revised images and features of the Sustainability Pavilion.
Wednesday 14th December
Grimshaw’s portfolio of workplace design has expanded with a new project in the dynamic Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone. Working for Skanska, the practice is developing a master plan for Bristol Temple Square, as well as a building within the site to house Engine Shed 02, a start-up incubator and co-working space.
Wednesday 8th October
The Laboratory at Dulwich College is a state-of-the-art science building located in the heart of the school’s historic campus in south London. The £14 million Grimshaw-designed scheme was officially opened earlier this month and is the first completed school project in the practice’s education portfolio.

Elements showcased the work of Grimshaw Industrial Design in association with Poltrona Frau. The exhibition including the latest bespoke projects from the practice, while several key projects in the exhibition were brought to life using 3D-augmented reality which was viewed on a phone or tablet through a specially developed app.
Structure Space and Skin

This first exhibition of Grimshaw's work at The Royal Institute of Architect's Florence Hall examined the first ten years of work from Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners through a series of components and large scale mock-ups.
Equilibrium
London, 2000
Equilibrium explored themes such as scale and context. The exhibition was self-contained, using a mobile flight case display system developed by the Grimshaw Industrial Design. Each case was installed with a combination of projection screens, models, photographs, drawings and sample materials to create a multi-layered, tactile experience.
Growing the Future City
London, 2015
This nine-week long exhibition at The Gallery in Foyles Bookstore was co-curated by Grimshaw and place-making agency Futurecity. Growing the Future City explored cities through six themes; navigating, working, playing, learning, greening, and housing, and marked the successful culmination of the Urban Research Unit series.
Fusion
UK, Europe, the United States and Japan, 1998
Contained within 19 free-standing aluminium flight cases that were specifically customised, this travelling exhibition presented Grimshaw's industrial design work, showing the firm's long-standing enthusiasm for detailing: from initial concepts through to prototyping, testing and mass production.
Equation
Singapore, 2013
Equation was Grimshaw’s first exhibition in Singapore, communicating how the natural environment provides inspiration for its innovative architectural projects around the world. The exhibition is designed to explain themes from the natural world, such as biomimicry, biophilia and ecosystems through Grimshaw’s projects and research.
