Olderfleet → continues its global awards success with the new workplace project in Melbourne being recognised as a 2023 Civic Trust Awards Regional Finalist. Designed by Grimshaw for leading Australian developer Mirvac, Olderfleet is the only project in the Southern Hemisphere to receive this accolade, and one of 127 projects to be selected from more than 250 entries around the globe.
Established to recognise outstanding architecture, planning and design in the built environment, the Civic Trust Awards recognise projects that exhibit strong sustainability credentials, a high level of accessible and universal design, and a demonstratable positive civic contribution.
“Olderfleet embodies our approach to architecture in that it responds to the needs and resources of the contemporary world with a deep understanding and respect for the history of the site, all while creating a captivating workplace and inspirational experience for those who engage with the space. We are delighted that the project continues to be recognised on the world stage for its contribution to the city of Melbourne.”
