Ground has been broken for building D/G of the University of Southampton Boldrewood Innovation Campus, signifying an important milestone for the university master plan team as they embark on a two year construction period of the final phase of the campus.
The work on Boldrewood began 10 years ago and since then all buildings have been designed and realised by Grimshaw.
The Building will form the first component of the National Infrastructure Lab alongside other well-known universities.
Following Phase 1 → winning a RIBA Regional Award earlier this year, the campus has recently been nominated for the Civic Trust Awards →.
