This year Grimshaw wants to put a spotlight on mental health in the design industry.
On Friday 8 October, Grimshaw is closing its studios in London, Paris, Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. We are giving our people a day for themselves: an opportunity to pause and prioritise mental health.
Grimshaw Mental Health Day, acknowledging World Mental Health Day on Sunday 10 October, recognises the impact of the Covid pandemic over the past 18 months which has affected work and personal lives in unexpected ways.
“Choosing one day that we all share together, as a practice, wherever we are, is important, helping to remove mental health stigmas and enabling us to support each other and open up about our feelings, thoughts and health.”
Mark Middleton, Group Managing Partner
