Articles Breakfast Talk: musical celebration marks the final event for 2023

Our Melbourne studio celebrated its final Breakfast Talk event for 2023 with a performance by local ensemble, Wolfgramm.

Through the experience of live music, the event brought the studio’s Breakfast Talk community together to bid farewell to 2023 and look ahead to 2024.

With an upbeat set of soul inspired classics, Wolfgramm set the tone for a celebratory event where guests where able to pause during the busy end-of-year work schedule and reconnect, reminisce and rejuvenate.

The musical performance also marked the Melbourne studio’s sixth Breakfast Talk event in 2023. Launched in February with celebrated artist, RONE →, the series has seen a diverse range of speakers share their insights, learnings and research with the studio’s Breakfast Talk community.

These speakers include children’s book author and illustrator, Zeno Sworder →; barrister, historian and environmentalist, Prof Kate Auty →; industrial designer and social innovator, Prof Andrea Siodmok OBE →, transdisciplinary researcher, Prof Ben Campkin →.

The event served as an important reminder of the importance of connecting with our friends, peers and networks through shared experiences that bring joy outside of our day-to-day practice. It wrapped up another exciting year for our Breakfast Talk series, and I am truly grateful for and inspired by how generously each of the speakers shared their experiences and insights.
