Articles Vote for your favourite Southern Cross Station snap at the #SCSSNAP exhibition

The #SCSSNAP2017 exhibition has opened in our Melbourne studio, celebrating Southern Cross Station's → 10 year anniversary, and exhibiting the winners of the competition.

#SCSSNAP2017 invited the public to share their best photos of the station and capture the role the building plays in the city.

Judged by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne; architectural photographer, John Gollings; Open House Melbourne Executive Director, Emma Telfer; and Grimshaw Managing Partner, Neil Stonell, the winning images of the competition have been selexted for their artisitic merit, originality, and how the celebrate the station as a key part of Melbourne's built environment and identity.

The exhibition is now open to the public, where viewers can vote on their favourite image until 23rd August. The People's Choice Award will be announced on the 23rd.

Neil Stonell said, “The photographs in the #SCSSNAP exhibition form a unique collection of images which celebrate the distinct architectura l form of Southern Cross Station as well as its civic and city-shaping aspirations. It’s inspiring to see how people relate to and celebrate these aspects of the station 10 years after its completion.”
