The Eden Project → has announced it has launched Eden Project International Ltd (EPIL) to establish new Edens around the world.

EPIL is helmed by Eden founder Sir Tim Smit, and will seek to work with like-minded organisations to spread the fundamental messages of ecological sustainability that drive the project.

Having established a lasting and fruitful relationship while developing the original biomes in St Austell, Grimshaw will be collaborating on developments in Sheng Lu Vineyard, Beijing; Yan'an; and Qingdao in China (Yan'an and Qingdao pictured above and below, respectively), Hobart in Australia and Christchurch in New Zealand.

Grimshaw Partner Jolyon Brewis said: “We are delighted to support Eden Project International Ltd on a number of ventures around the world.

"Grimshaw's relationship with Eden Project spans over 20 years and we are proud to help bring Eden's ethos to new audiences through unique architecture, landscapes and immersive content; all delivered with characteristic joy.”
