Articles Grimshaw receives top UK-US business award from the UK Department of International Trade

Grimshaw has been recognised by the UK Department of International Trade (DIT) and International Trade Secretary, Dr Liam Fox for over 15 years of transformative architecture and design work in North America, after bringing the practice overseas from London.

As part of the UK’s ‘International Trade Day’, the inaugural Board of Trade Awards were hosted aboard the Royal Navy’s HMS Queen Elizabeth in the historic New York harbour, and served as an opportunity to recognise the important and expansive role that British firms play in global economic activity.

Andrew Whalley, Grimshaw’s Deputy Chairman said, “We are thrilled to be recognised by the Department of International Trade for our contributions to architecture and design in North America, and particularly in our adopted home of New York City.
