Two Grimshaw projects are currently being featured on the TV show New York By Design, a CBS production about innovative and unique designs from creators based in New York.

The first design, the 'e-trees', created for the Dubai Expo 2020 Sustainability Pavilion →, generate their own power, cooling, and water, were featured in episode 3, while the D-tec suite of modular Covid-19 testing facilities →, which are currently in use at Los Angeles International Airport, feature in episode 5.

Both projects are finalists for the Nambé People’s Choice Award. Anyone can vote, up to three times per hour, for their favorite innovations that were featured on the show. Voting ends 2 January 2021 and the winner will be announced 11 January.
