Members of the Paris studio attended the opening of the first ever Biennale d’Architecture et Paysage-Ile de France. The Grimshaw station designs for Mairie d’Aubervilliers and Fort d’Aubervilliers are being displayed at the Horizon 2030 pavilion.

The Grimshaw station designs for Marie d’Aubervilliers and Fort d’Aubervilliers have been displayed at the Horizon 2030 pavilion which highlights the development of the Greater Paris Region centered around the new Grand Paris Express metro system.

The opening featured presentations by architects Jean Nouvel, Christian de Portzamparc, Dominique Perrault, and former French president Nicolas Sarkozy who laid the groundwork for the Grand Paris Express system.

The Biennale d’Architecture et de Paysage Ile de France was created to promote a dialogue between citizens, elected officials, architects, landscape architects, urban planners, and creators to invent the city of tomorrow. The exhibition runs through July 13th at the Old Post Office building in Versailles.

The Grimshaw exhibition display was a collaborative effort between the London office and the Paris office and includes images, construction materials, and even a clever interactive VR experience provided by the London DT team.
