The Fulton Center → in New York has been awarded with an RIBA International Award for Excellence.

The extensive complex offers improved accessibility to New York City’s storied mass transit system in a durable, elegant setting that has encouraged growth in its nearby area, while still being referential to its past.

Fulton Center's crowning feature is the Sky Reflector-Net located in the central atrium; reflecting sunlight from the outside and casting it downward at a precisely calculated angle that changes with the time of day.

The RIBA had this to say about the building:

"This is a highly complex project defined by a single all encompassing idea that has delighted both its commissioning clients and the millions of commuting clients who pass through."
